Try using a new CD dippy. Maybe it isn't a CD-RW but just a CD-R so you can't rewrite after you burn once. Other than that, I think you just suck at computers and life! Bitch.

Now reactive my WOW account :\

CD wasn't finalized, so even though it's a CD-R I still should've been able to write to it... I've done this dozens of times when I had un-filled CDs and wanted to add more data to them.

I re-burned all my shit on a brandy new CD, then tried reburning several files after the first burn was complete, and it worked fine. I'm wondering if I didn't just get some fucked up CD.

P.S. I'm dissappointed in you, Rus. You forgot to mention how I suck dick, too... seems like you jump at opportunities to bust my balls about that and here I find you slacking. Le sigh.

The last batch of 50 CD-Rs I bought was full of a bunch of fucked up ones, so that could be a possibility. Now I only buy Maxell, Sony, etc. CD-Rs.

P.S. I'm sorry, I'll try harder.

I need to get the file to a comp with internet access in order to send it as an attachment, which is why I burn my homework to CDs and then print it up in the library.

P.S. How the hell have you been, Mr. Mike?

Why not finalize the disc? In my experience one must in order for other computers to read it sucessfully but maybe I don't understand the situation...

Finalization isn't required for a CD to be read correctly, at least using the burning software I do, (hacked copy of Nero 4.0) and I've been using the same software for about two years with absolutely no problems.
