The water was always good. Never had any problems with it. Your drinking water and sewage lines are different, as far as I know (and hope!).

I heard Juan was a Cat 1 when it hit.

according to the radio on Monday & Tuesday the Hurricane caused the sewage to overflow into the water supply and not to touch the water because it had raw untreated sewage in it. Firemen were going around today in our neighbourhood bringing waer for those without.

We're waiting on word for when we can use the water again.

What I've heard on the news all week, including today, is that if you're on the city water system, you're fine. If you're on a well, then you may want to get that checked out, due to sewage overflow.

I firmly believe that you're not on a well, but perhaps something localized happened around you to warrant the bottled water.

Either way, I'm still healthy after drinking all kinds of water. :)
