Smoke Alarms

Well that was a lot of fun NOT!!!! My smoke detector/alarm went off at 11 pm and it was then that I realized they are NOT battery operated! I knew that but in the excitement of it ringing in my ears I had forgotten. When I realized I didn't know how to turn it off (there were actually 3 going off)I went to my front door and stepped outside

I'm glad it wasn't a real fire!

Checking the dehumidifer in the basement often now. It was full this morning. BTW, did feel doors before I opened them in case there was a fire.
