Changing a girl's mind

Firstly, thanks to all those who answered my poll. I know the questions were vague, but I loved all the responses I got. Answers to questions etc will be woven into my journal over the next few entries, so remember what you asked, and you'll see your answer.

Now, on to today's topic.

A trip to the cinema last night reminded me of something ruine_ said ( Read more... )

You fucking bastard!!! And I mean that in the most endearing of terms! But what a shit!!

It all makes perfect sense now, all those moments!

EVIL! EVIL!! EVIL!!!

Subs of the world take note! Doms are of the most evil and devious kind. Ok we may love it but hey, we still need to put up a fight! My jaw is still on the floor after reading this. Remembering the 'argument' over the salt or sweet ohhhhh so well.

I was just talking to someone today about this. That although there are many who would insist there is no give, there really is. The power exchange is nothing like the one sided affair that many believe it to be. It truly is a give/take.

What a wonderful story.

Precisely. I even explained to ruine_ at one point while eating popcorn that we were like yin and yang, her taking a small taste of salt with her sweet, me taking a small taste of sweet with my salt.

In the same way, I cannot change her without changing myself, nor would I want to. She has changed me so much, made me so much wiser, stronger, and so much more myself.

I feel 99% worthy of her, and will forever strive for the final 1%. It's unattainable, of course. As I reach for it, she grows more valuable to me, and I must keep striving. But I never wish to stop.

That is what I would want - to be forever changed and changing, to be worthy of that person, to have an effect on her life in a positive way and vice versa.. and to be able to believe that because I *see* it in her - that I have the same effect on her.

What is sweet popcorn? That sounds awful. Popcorn is served one way.. with fake butter and salt.

No, it's just got sugar on it.. sometimes with a slight vanilla flavour.

You're right, its disgusting.. Popcorn should have a slightly buttery, salt taste. (or be covered in toffee!)

Oh, you're sneaky. Very sneaky. ;)

The changes -- the mutual changes -- are what I look forward to the most in a relationship. A good relationship results in a wonderful kind of fluidity.

P.S. You know, I'm hoping that you develop a bad case of writer's block. What was I thinking? ;)

I have a long post in the works that could easily hit 1000 words, dear shrew.. :)

Indeed, was I a wise person to make such an offer to? smirks
