So, Livejournal informs me that I last updated this thing precisely 8 weeks ago. That, for me, is a long time. I'm going to try and sit down and write an entry right now for the sake of figuring out how much interest I still have in this thing.

What's up with the computer? You can get a set of tolerable speakers from Job Lot for around $5.

Yeah, I could easily replace the speakers. The computer itself is on the way out, though. It's pretty old as it is, and has lots of spyware and trojans and all that good stuff. Luckily, there's nothing of any real consequence saved on this computer, but I do fear that one day I will come home from work and it will just not be working.

If only it lasts until January, when I'll have the money to replace it. Praise Allah.

Mea culpa. At my work, we had to keep our phones on silent.

Unfortunately, I would forget to put the ringer back on after work & I'd miss calls. To bad one can't put a timer when setting the cell to silent mode so it only stays silent for work hours. :-/

But now, I'm no longer working - kind of a moot point now.
