The long scandinavian dark has arrived, with a quickness that shocked me. It was completely pitch-dark by five p.m. today. What, surviving the winter? ;)

It's not too bad so far. It's been warmer than Seattle this time of year, and dare I say it? A tad less rainy. It gets darker faster, and it was shocking when it started happening. My roommate says it gets dark by three in the afternoon in December.

I'll let you know how it goes.

Lighting here is exceptionally good, so it feels "cozy". And they seem to fight winter malaise in general through the concept of "hygge".
