That Place Where I Live is Trying to Kill Me

I feel like I should change the little "Music" field below to something like "Current Temperature of My Apartment." For some reason my landlords cannot, for the life of them, conceive of a temperature between the extremes.

Case in point: woke up this morning to 43 degrees. In my apartment. It is 19 outside. I'm currently considering going down to

huh. I'm glad I'm living in a place where I control my own heat (adversely, I'm kinda NOT glad for this because I'm therefore responsible for the bill...).

Last year we didn't use the gas stove (Zee issues) so we used a system of heaters. I recommend getting the $20 cube heaters from Wallyworld. We used two of those and two $60 tower heaters last year, and they were all pretty much running constantly. The towers thermostats burned out after a few months, but one of the ceramic heaters is still with us (the cord to the other one was destroyed, but would otherwise be with us still).

By the by, I need to keep up on LJ more often, or you should update your FB every time you post here :P

Duly noted. I'll look into those heaters... I've got a dish heater from Costco that's pretty awesome, but I could use one or two more. Thanks!

Heh, yeah, I need to check FB more often. Between the two of us, we're probably always on the opposite site. ;)
