This weekend Dire and I headed back to Kansas to visit his family and some of his old friends. I really liked Lawrence the last time I was there, so I was excited to go back and spend more time seeing what the town had to offer ( Read more... )

Its cool you have such a fantastic repore with Dire's Family. I feel blessed to have the same with my mates family. Its so easy to take for granted, but to keep it from losing its sense of being special I try to keep an extra positive attitude around them.

It's always a pleasure to hang out with you both! It's too bad the zoo party ended up being kinda lame but we still enjoyed ourselves. I think I might try and start finding more excuses to go prowl around Lawrence. I keep hearing about the fun to be had there and I don't think I've even bothered to spend more than an hour or two there since we moved to KC.

A while ago I found Insurgent's tail on my computer and decided to put it on my mp3 player and give it a few metaphorical spins. I have to say it is a really great mix. I love all the Dungeon Master's guide songs, really a great way to start the mix, and ending with the requiem for a dream song is awesome too. The first time I heard the gun fire in the middle of the track I flinched.

Overall, great mix. Wanted to give respects where I feel it is due.
