Have you looked at the MacRuby project? All Ruby objects become Objective-C objects, e.g., Object == NSObject, String == NSMutableString, etc.

It looked kind of crazy. I wasn't sure I wanted to completely replace my ruby with something that experimental. At least RubyCocoa is just an add-on.
