As a long time GM, that was almost painful to listen to.
However, it was marvelously entertaining, and actually got me excited to play a low-level character?!?!

It also made me download pdfs of all of the books...
As an aside, one of the people sounds a lot like David Cross. Am I mistaken?

Hey Kyle, its been a long time man!

All I know is that it is Penny Arcade (Tycho and Gabe) and Player Vs Player (Scott Kurtz). It could be David Cross, but I find no mention of the extra people's names on the pages.

I really like 4.0, of course it has its up and downs, but overall a better game than the previous DnD editions, becuase it brings things back into perspective. Adventurers are Heroes, not just everyday ordinary people with higher stats than some. Clerics and Paladins crusade (fight, defend, and heal) for their gods, Paladins don't have to be Lawful Good, Rogues are sneaky and tactical, Fighters aren't all the same with different weapon proficiencies and feats, Warlords can control a battlefield, Wizards can always cast something, Rangers aren't just fighters who get bonuses towards favored enemies, etc...

Let me know if you get a group going, I'll try to make it up your way.
