Fatherhood

I has it. In June 2008.

My lovely Rachel is pregnant, and she's expecting early June 2008. I'm hoping for a girl, so I can terrorize her boyfriends in high school.

Me: So, taking my little girl to the prom, are we?

Daughter's BF: Yes sir!

Me: Good, good.. Tommy, let me show you my sword collection...

Well, it's certainly not something that I would choose for myself, but best luck to you and your girlie with it. :)

Meh, I'm trying to finish up the last 7 units for my BA and my love life is tepid, but at least I'm not living in Bako anymore. That's an improvement.

I was in town for a couple days just before Halloween and I dropped by the How Cool store. I asked one of the girls there to say hi to you for me, but I don't know if she ever did.

How about you? Anything new, you know, aside from the whole fatherhood thing?

Do you know who you spoke to at the store? The person might not have known me.

Life is life. Been with Rachel nearly a year now, got a baby peanut on the way (Persephone Jade if it's a girl, Benjamin Ronald for a boy). Still working at Howcool, playing WoW, etc etc. Went to the Sequoias a few weeks ago with Rachel, but I felt sick the whole car trip so I didn't really get to enjoy it.

Love the names you guys picked out. Persephone Jade was to be the name of my horses filly, but she lost it. (We're still using Roman mythology names for our horses). Does Rachel get to terrorize the girlfriends if you guys have a boy???

I just found out I'm getting another nephew in January. I wish I could afford to fly to Bako to see my brother and my nephews so I can spoil them. I have a cousin on the way too... baby girl in March.

Fortunately, my best friend out here has a 7 year old daughter that I love to spoil :-)

(I am not fertile. So, adoption for me :-P)

Congrats, my friend!! I hope being a parent to your new little one brings as much joy into your life as my little ones bring to me.
(I haven't reached the stage that I can terrorize girlfriends or boyfriends yet but the prospect does amuse me.)
