My girlfriend recently dropped an external hard drive (basically a 100Gb notebook HDD encased in a "G-resistant" hard plastic container)... and it only dropped from a height of approx. 3 feet, but it conked out after that. I have this aversion for moving parts now. :P
I recently read that the technology for producing 2 Terabyte flash-based USB keys has been out for over a year now... and I can only assume that they're milking the market through gradual upgrades.
I like the look of that Imation product. Even from an aesthetic standpoint, the design clevery mixes iconography and symbology with its appearance. I like the fact that when you're carrying it around it forms a "lock". Well... not that I'd loop it around my bag or anything, but it looks great. :)
