I am a little awe-stricken after having watched The Pianist. It really wrapped me in, and gave me that little lip quiver a few times, yknow, the one you get right before you burst into tears. wasn't the pianist amazing? it portrays everything so vividly, there were parts where i actually felt my heart breaking imagining everything those people had to go through.

you keep telling yourself you're going to be fine, everything will go back to normal soon, and then you see your neighbor dumped out of his window because he can't stand from his wheelchair.

i think i remember bitching about stupid shit in my life the day i watched that movie and i was humbled afterwards.. like what right do i have to complain about anything when some people have to struggle to survive...

Haha. DRA-MA! Indeed. It was really powerful, and humbling. It's had me in that same feeling, where you feel like your problems are nothing in comparison.

Thanks, that seriously is the best compliment you can give me. I'm going to school with an english major, and hearing things like that are really encouraging. thanks!

As for the movie, I absolutely reccomend, as long as you don't mind the heavy feeling during and afterwards..
