It's a radial head fracture. I needs to not be in a cast to heal right, but moving any part of my arm makes it hurt. It is a crack, not in multiple pieces, so it could be much worse.

Radial head fractures are some of the most subtle and difficult ones to diagnose. The ones I've seen are pretty obvious though. The head and neck of the radius are pretty thin, so they're relatively easy to break. Compression fractures look all squished. With a total break, it snaps off and looks like a mushroom.
