I got tired of all the phone calls. Doctors appointment, and paperwork to get a referral, office losing the referral so that I have to start all over again. People telling me that they couldn't schedule an appointment for over a month in the future when my finger hurt all the time. Bought the nicest tweezers I could find, sterilized them, and

Well it had already made a new hole in my finger from the inside making me bleed. I just made the hole a little bigger.

sweet! f*** the naysayers, diy surgery is where it is at.

sure, things can go wrong, but if they do, then technically, you have an emergency situation. either way, problem solved!
