Im SOO with you on that one!!! Between my two bikes, I need like 5 different sizes on a regular basis. And I had to buy a swissarmyknife type deal with a bunch of allen wrench sizes on it to be productive.
At least i get alot of use out of it... its the only tool Id take on the road with me.
With alot of older bikes, you need a combination of regular wrench (sizes 15 and... something else that i forget) AND allen wrench to cover everything. So at least in that respect its been cut down since now its only the multisized allen wrench tool you need.

Yeah, usually I just bring my leatherman; nothing goes wrong regularly that requires the allen wrench. But it is definitely annoying that it seems like every time I acquire something wrenchable, it is an entirely different size. I just ask myself, "WHY??"

Hmm, I like them because they work good. As for standardization, you don't want it with microsoft, but you do want it with tools? ;)

I don't dislike microsoft's standardization. In fact, one of the reasons I have been a windows user for so long (still am, just use linux, too) is its ability to run a great deal of software. MacOS sucks at that, both because apple has traditionally been rotten with third parties and just because of adoption level.

I dislike windows because its prohibitive and limited--you buy a copy, license, whatever, and you can't do whatever you want with it. That sucks, and it's bullshit. I cannot reach my potential using windows.

I like Mac OS because it's very stable, it's got nearly every program I could want for it (since I basically want to do audio and visual stuff - I never play games), and it is built on unix so it can run any program that can run in unix (I've used the apache/jakarta line of builders, internet application servers, web servers...).

I wholeheartedly endorse this product/message/service.

As a person that exists in a self made universe where money is a mystery I am still forced to submit to that whiny caricature's pleas for me to "go get a Dell."
