Yes, unlike some, I have an excuse to be down. And I am rather sad. Softball is over and we lost our last game. (Though, when ending in a tournament, it is rather difficult not to lose the last game you play.)

But no matter. Plenty to be done...plenty must be done...if I get up the stamina to finish.

Because some of you will be amused...I'll let you decide if you think it's accurate. I protest though...some of my good friends are liberals, and I haven't bitten your heads off...yet ( Read more... )

We tied. Darn it, of all ways to end a game...27:27. Winning--or non-winning--runner crossed the plate with the last out made at first.

After twenty-seven runs, it would have been nice to win.
