Weaponry (LotR, KoH)

 The weaponry in Lord of the Rings and Kingdom of Heaven are pretty similar so I've put them in one post.

Psst- longbows can pierce too. Depends on draw weight, and distance.

There's a site called Encyclopedia of Arda at http://glyphweb.com/arda with plenty of information that never made it into any of the movies. Good as a quick reference when your copies of LOTR, HoME or the Silmarillion isn't handy. Cheers, and long may the fics flow!
