Fanfiction--Responding to non-complimentary reviews

From time to time, writers of fanfiction get reviews which do not say that the story is great. Some of them are called 'flames' and they generally include  telling the author that their writing is so bad that they should despair and jump off a cliff. But your writing is high quality, so you wouldn't have been flamed even if a flamer had come across your work. :)

I have, although I haven't directly crossed paths with him. I used to lurk on his forum, and I know a couple of people who have been flamed by him. He was a huge thing a couple of years back, but since then, he's disappeared off the radar.
