(no subject)
What just happened? I feel like I got no sleep at all, even though I really did.
Yesterday Jodi picked me up at exactly 6:33 to go to Onzon Thai. Also in the car were Alli and Jordan. I wasn't expecting Jordan to come, but in retrospect I'm glad he did, because he's a cool guy, and it was good to see him before he goes back to Pennsylvania.
Upon arrival at Onzon, I hugged Alli for the first time in two or three months. We missed each other a lot.
The restaurant was really crowded, and Ken the waiter had his hands full. We all ordered chicken pad thai, except for Alli, who ordered chicken pad king, as she dislikes peanuts. I think everyone was quite content with what they ordered.
We went back to Jodi's house after dinner, and chilled for a bit. I haven't played Golden Eye in years, so naturally I sucked hard at it. I just gave up when they threw South Park in the N64, and sat down with Alli. She apparently found my deodorant scent quite intriguing (which is Extreme Rightguard, if you're reading this). I'm not really used to being smelled, I figure my clothes smell of animals. Then Alli rested her head on me while we casually discussed the ways in which dictators disposed of people. I really should pick brighter topics ...
Abruptly, we piled into Jodi's car and went to the cinemas to watch 40 Year Old Virgin. The girl at the concession stand gave me this weird half dollar for change. I should stop buying Swedish fish, because they make me feel unhealthy. I guess I need to share them with somebody else. The movie wasn't amazing, fairly crude, but funny enough.
Afterwards, we stopped by this diner. I got chocolate pudding, because I definitely didn't want to eat much more that night. As opposed to the eggs or waffles other people got, see. We decided to draw pictures on our paper mat things. Alli drew dresses for unnaturally thin people, Jordan drew a guitar, I drew a guy with a cape and a really big hat, and Jodi drew ... female anatomy.
It was great last night, because for once I felt happy that I was with such amazing people, instead of thinking about those who I wasn't ever with. It was just like all the people who really mattered were there in that car with me, which isn't true, because there are a lot more people who matter to me, but that's how it felt.
