I got home from youth group a little while ago, and Matt's sermon (about reading the Bible) brought to mind something I saw on tv a couple of days ago. It was a talk show, and the guest was a Christian author. She was explaining how one day her pastor's sermon was on reading the Bible, and she said that the Bible says you should have the desire ( Read more... )

Ok, that comment makes me feel a bit better.

Haha, Pokemon, hm, I don't think it lasted too long, really, most people got bored with it, fast.

OMG, you're moving, again? Well, assuming **a** is closer to where you are now than to where I am, that sucks. About the whole graduating HS in 3 years thing, well, wow. That would be a hell of a lot of work (which I'm sure you already know :P), and I know I would never be able to do it, I hada hard enough time with one AP course last year, lol. However, you are a very intelligent person and I have compete faith in you, if you would decide to do it. :)
I kinda got lost about the whole where you can get credits thing, but we don't have AICE around here, so... yeah. *shrugs* I'm clueless.

Yeah, we've all just got to make the effort.

Lol, good for them, ha.

Yep, it sure looks like it. **a**'s where I used to live before pa.

I don't think I was ever really serious about the 3 yr thing, but it would have been KICKASS if I would have been able to pull it off. So, yeah, I decided to do the 4-yr thing, and I'll dual enroll senior year if I end up moving.

AICE is just a British version of AP, with an emphasis on writing. Since it's a program, I can graduate with an actual AICE diploma (which is a really good thing), but I have to graduate from a school that has the program.

Hey, you don't know me, but my opinion:

Don't do it. Taking that many classes is ridiculous and unless you're some sort of superstudent, I have a feeling you're going to be miserable. I think it's better to have to take a few repeat classes at your new school if you have to than to put yourself through a year of hell. I took 5 APs last year and it was really hard, I can't imagine doing what you're planning.

Enjoy your life a little! =)

Haha, uh, I just realized that this post was made last year. ^^;;

So, what did you end up choosing? haha.

;) No problem. It ended up that we didn't move. I completed my junior year with the 6 AICE classes. This year, I'm a senior, and also have a good schedule. I was feeling desperate and ambitious at the time of the post, but even if we had kept the moving plan, I don't think I would have gone for that strenuous option.

Thanks for your advice, though!
