James Marsters (Spike) turns 50 years old today.

Look, I knew even back when he was on Buffy and Angel that the actor was significantly older than people had first assumed when the character was introduced.  But man, 50?  Oy.

Didn't Buffy start 15 years ago? I distinctly remember watching reruns of season 2 in 1999. So, if he was 35 when the show started, that stings a little less.

(One of the side effects of my own aging is that people significantly younger than me have started to look... uncooked. Not ugly, just, not ready yet. I presume this is at least partly a mental protection against OH GOD I'M AGING.)
