Robin and I have been working on the ins and outs of this for a while, now, and I'd best get it in writing now before time proves us right or wrong.

Regarding the Valeyard:

The Master introduces us to the Valeyard in "The Ultimate Foe" like so: There is some evil in all of us, Doctor, even you. The Valeyard is an amalgamation of the darker sides

This is a far more sensible version of the usual Valeyard theories I've seen ("The Doctor sent Rose away! Without her he'll become the Valeyard!" "Only the Valeyard would love River song!" etc.) Why do you tease me like that?
