Then who will look out for you?

Deadwood is back. And thank heavens for it. Above and beyond my usual accolades for this show, I would just like to say how very profound Calamity Jane is.
Every day takes figuring out all over again how to fucking live.
-Calamity Jane

So I think they are building towards the burning of the Gem. Historically it burned in 1879, which is close kinda to where we are now. If the first season was 1876, and the second '77...then the Gem could burn soon.

Of course, this whole damn thing could be thrown out of whack if HBO cancels this show.

Now to thoughts on the episode.

First, really Bullock needs some rage management therapy. I mean damn. The man is just barely hanging on.

Wow, Joanie's in a state, as is Jane. The two of them just kill me. And speaking of whores, I wonder if Sol will attempt to make an honest woman out of Trixie.

There's more in my head, but I'm fading fast.

This was a very accomplished weekend. I finished the fence. We now have a lovely and beautiful privacy fence in our backyard. We also managed to get the dogs' houses moved to a corner of the yard and swept and hosed off the patio. Soon, maybe, we'll get a nice little gazebo soon and there will be backyard-sitting-happy-me.

I also watched The Omen. I learned a few things.
a)Being a mother sucks, especially if you're the mother to the AntiChrist.
b)The Catholic church has way bigger problems than some pedophiliac priests.
c)I would expect Satan's son to be a little bit more charismatic. I know his daddy knows you catch more flies with honey.
d)Be the AntiChrist is kinda like being autistic, but with weird friends.

Okay. Now I need to sleep.
