This is not a backwater school. This is, in fact, the largest undergraduate university in the state. We have world-reknowned programs in Recording Industries Management, Mass Communication, Aerospace, and Education. The area surrounding the school is affluent and liberal. Do you watch My Name Is Earl? I can't remember. Last week they reran an episode that has possibly the funniest chicken/bird fear storyline ever. It made me laugh more than David Boreanaz.

I have to say, I would probably take a rooster wandering around campus as an omen, too.

I saw that. And I totally feel for Rusty/Randy/Earl'sBrother (can't remember his name).

My chicken fear is deeply seated, and is less a fear than an undying belief that if chickens were only bigger they would so fucking eat us. That and the whole emotional and physical scarring from getting eggs from hens at age 6.

I think it's in the eyes...chicken eyes are dead on the inside. As are most birds. ANd therefore, creepy.
