Ok, here's the thing. With Twilight, the movie was pure cheese and ridiculous, and that's ok with me. I kind of expected it to be cheesy,
With Harry Potter, I think that I hold the books in higher regard. There's so much more to then, such intricate story lines and for some reason I get so emotional when the movies feel the need to change them.
i agree with you 100% i was pretty bummed that they left out so many memories! i've been waiting to see Voldemort's fucked up family on screen since i read the book, so that was kind of a letdown.
still it was pretty entertaining, i loved all the drunk/stoned harry moments after he drank Felix Felicis, so good!
I agree with all of this. I was so sad about the funeral being left out. Actually, like 85% of the book was left out it seemed...like REALLY important parts. I feel like anyone who is as obsessed with the books as me is going to be disappointed about the movies...
