i have that same thought altho Ryo isn't really the usual taste of everyone and he's not into acting amiable i would have thought ppl would just use him by his talent. but apparently, ppl who act much worse are getting more opportunities for some reason.
and that movie... it's not that i'm not happy, but it was a produced by J-storm. so it's not like anybody really recognized him, probably just johnny's realized Ryo didn't have much to do lately so got him a role.... -____-....
wanna see ryo-chan in drama too! *praying hard* this year he'll have drama, absolutely good drama and playing lead role!! at least ..better than yankee no megane-kun, that he left out -*- when saw ryo-chan in NEWS promotion clip i'm nearly crying .. why is ryo ?

even if i think some relax times is good for him but for himself .. too much free time is no good he's boring Σ(￣□￣ ||
thinking of Chonmage purin make me feel better .. at least he has something to do
sometimes at the back of my head i'm thinking it's like he's being given up already cos there are so many new ppl..
and Ryo tends to not "try" hard in trying to be nice and friendly, or trying to accentuate his good looks, he just lets that hair fly around, sits back and looks bored, and sometimes i think that jeopardizes some chances... altho that's him and why i like him. i don't know if u get what i mean... like, altho he always says he'll work hard, he's not like Pi etc who would try to sell himself... so probably that's why...
geez, really hope he gets some new projects coming up.. >

i actually cant wait for chonmage pudding! i dont care if the movies plot is cracky , the director is amazing n well respected so its boudn to be decent :)
i know...doesn't it really suck that all those ppl who can't even act has tons of roles even Shige is leading a drama now!! and KAME??! why so many lead roles... ok, so Jin doesn't do much dramas, but he's got tons of personal promotions. i don't see why Ryo is totally ignored...unfair!!!!
I KNOW i have nothign against shige..he HAS been having no jobs no thansk to news for the past year -_- BUT STILL shiges not even half the actor ryo is! what dramas were he in anywa? rigth hokaben..that ddint even rate high at all! that news promo where ryo was just like "im waiting for offers" it crushed my heart a bit..COME ONE DIRECTORS!!
yea kame annoys me quite a bit. =_= ALL his dramas have been such failures with the worst ratings ever..i even pity him! but Ryo doesnt have a single lead yet? gah >_< even hey say whatevers have their lead dramas i swear =/ but then again i wouldnt want ryo cast in crappy drama like kame's wine drama n everythgin gets blamed ont he actor '__' but really i wanna see ryo on screen again!
n i love yamapi n all but the boy cannot act in my op...he always loosk the same =__= n he got few leads already =S guess ppl just go for the ones thatd bbrign in the ratings..but i swear Ryo's realyl popular aint he? i dont get it -_-
sorry, i like Pi a lot, but really, all his characters were tailor made for him so they were pretty much the same, tho i can understand it's probably cos he bring in ratings.
but KAME!!?? his dramas sucks, the only one i could watch till the end was Nobuta.. and that was becos of Pi i reckon..>not to mention, he contributes to "Johnny's talents getting low ratings, so they changed the cast for Yanki and megane chan", all his dramas rate like *_
