indeed goodness all around.. i'm thinking of making a water proof cloak for rainy days and what not

How does one plan to do hat and remain period? You could just use wool, for light rain it'l keep the water off, but if the rain is too heavy it'll just get waterlogged

is leather not period? cause an oiled leather cloak would be water proof
