I haven't written a screenplay before, but I think we share the same feeling about the way we write. *_* I'm in the middle of a creative writing course here and the feedback I get is always along the lines of 'great idea, but it feels to me like a lot of stuff is left out/I wish I saw more.'
It's definitely much more difficult for me to take something that I know could be beautiful and should be shared, and make it understandable to someone without extra explanation from me. Writing right now just reinforces my preference for storytelling through illustration..a lot less gets lost in the process when I go about it that way. haha

Seriously! Honestly I am convinced that writing stories well is one of the most difficult endeavors to undertake. It's also tricky to find the balance between lengthy exposition (potentially boring) and cutting out the explanation for your ideas (potentially confusing).

Good luck with your writing! You should share it one day :D
