Nice one. I bet Sirius looks like that in animagus form, and not that little dog we see in PoA.

Oh I always pictured Sirus as more of a Mastiff or Irish Wolfhound or some other very large breed.

The little tiger thing is actually a kywal, a made up vegitarian cat-like animal from my current favorite manga: Vampire Game. The story is hysterical. You wind up rooting for the villians and the line between the good guys and the bad guys is remarkably blurry. Tis wonderful.

I think your idea is likely more accurate then mine. I just think of him as a huge bear like dog. It has to be something big enough to tangle with a wolf that is what is important.
