Oi! So I've been wanting to take some photos of me and Joe, especially outside in the lovely fall scenery and weather.  I go to take a shot of me sitting at my work desk for the fun of it, and um, yeah, the screen is black.  It's black when I have it on camera mode and it's black on view mode. Sorry about your camera!

Hope you enjoyed Friday enough to come back! Woohoo! Go human druids and elven wizards! (and that half-elf monk!) And isn't third edition fucking HARD?!

If you get that Nikon... that would be sweet, and you better use it!

I actually have some good news about the busted camera. I did some online research which led me to Canon's site. It turns out that it might be a problem with something called the CCD sensor. Apparently, it's an issue with quite a few of their models. This means that all I had to do was call their customer service line, give them my info and I can send the camera to them to be repaired free of charge as well as free S&H. All in all it will probably only take a couple of weeks. Hopefully, this is a CCD issue and not something else which would probably require me paying them, but it seems like the issue with the digital screen being black in both the view picture and camera modes points to a bum sensor.

All in all...YAY! I was really bummed out. Even though I would love a better camera, it's nice to save the cash for something else, especially now that our car needs a new transmission. I don't even want to go into how much it's going to cost. Makes me sick to the stomach.
