Ah well. Looks like the college course next year is oversubscribed, so despite the rather comforting insistence that there's usually a place for everyone, there isn't, it appears one for me. Purely an administrative matter, no reflection on your ability, etc. etc. I've been advised to "go find myself" - advice kindly meant, but not much use

Sympathy *hug* - sounds like lots and lots of bad things have made an unpleasant pile on your feet, and are sitting there scowling at you.
I hope they go away or at least become less sucky soon.
If you're ever in SW london give us a shout, we have good local pubs and a free guest bed. You may have to witness the combination of my dad and wine, but I promise my auntie (ask waistcoatmark) probably won't be visiting at the time.

Not sure what to say. I'm sorry about the course - is there any chance of doing it elsewhere? Have you considered if Oxford could do the last year for you considering that someone I know just got on an Archaeology masters?

WRT housemates: Surely Rei's house agreement will be coming to an end soon as its the summer holidays, and shouldn't be as much of an issue?

And sympathies about all the bad shite. Bad stuff happens to good people, sometimes :(.
