An "outsider"? That's good. The polls show that the people want new blood, but he's a nearly complete unknown. Between that and his strong religious background, pro-life stance, support of continued military action in the Middle East (but with "more diplomacy"), his failure to recognize rights for homosexuals, and the implication that he will support big business over the common man - I'd give him less than a chance in Hell. He comes across as a slightly more domestic-policy-savvy Bush. Add the fact that he's running as a Republican, and I'd give him less of a chance than none at all. If the trends I'm seeing continue, we'll want a nearly complete antithesis to Bush by 2008.
Rudy Giuliani has more of a chance of running for President as a Republican either because of or in spite of his liberal views on personal relationships.
