When I was undergoing training shortly after we came back from visiting you and fishwhistle in Toronto, we were told about this robbery possibility and that this "friendly and convenient" bank is more prone to these thefts than other banks.

However, they also mentioned that bank robberies are no longer as dramatic and violent as they were in the past.

Basically, someone goes up to the teller, slips the teller a note but never shows a gun or may not even have one - only a pretend one. If they show a gun or weapon they will get more time so they're careful not to show any weapon.

Right after it happened it was like it almost hadn't occurred...that was the weird thing about it. I was never really scared or stressed out in the least just curious about how it was all handled.

I know I say it over and over again, but I'm so glad you're OK. Adventures in life can be a good thing, but they can go overboard sometimes!

Lawd sakes I just read this! Is praying during the bank robbery part of the whole show-no-weapon aesthetic? (Also glad yòu`re alright)

This happened last November and the guy was clearly a whacko who was later caught.

The whole experience was just a little weird and surreal what with the barrage of cops descending on the bank and their somewhat stupid comments.
