I revived The Age of Inertia after three years of hiatus (that's up on ff.net, though), so if you've only been gone for two, then, well. Y'know. :) Welcome back to the obsession.
So I read the update, but my browser keeps shouting at me about how there's malware on the UR server, so I'll just bring my comments over here:
You nailed the agony that is applications. I was cringing as McGonagall reminded Lily for the umpteenth time about it - totally felt Lily's pain. What the hell does anyone write about their greatest strengths and weaknesses, anyway? Lulz.
- Now that that's out of the way! I quite enjoyed the dialogue, my dear. It sounds so natural and the characters' voices really come through. But, like James, I do find Lily to be rather obtuse in this chapter. She needs to put him out of his misery already. Haha the poor guy. :/
Looking forward to the last couple of chapters. It's always interesting to see people come back from a long break. :)
