Absolutely cute! =D You have grasped very well the tension and gentleness between the two, but might I suggest you get your next fic betaed by someone else? I'm not a native myself, so I use a couple of friends to beta for me all the time. I find they help me eliminate the typos and such.

Other than that, just lovely. More, please!

Nice story. Write more. As a logical point, take out the line about the fire in the grate. This is a wooden ship and traditionally has no fires except in the gallery. I like Granby as the conscientious lieutenant. Didn't Granby and the rest of the crew get scolded for not taking care of their captain in the first book?
