Drabble!
I wrote this for poisonivory last week-ish. I'm pretty sure the joke was hers originally. 100 words:
"We're worried about your demographics," the network suit said.
"Really?" Zeke considered. "Its still pretty much housewives and gay guys, right? But I'm growing on college campuses. Stoners, you know? They think I'm funny."
The suit scowled. "You aren't exactly critically acclaimed. You're a punchline."
"I'm meant to be a punchline. Now, look, I'm going to ask you for 10%, and if you refuse, I'll have to call my scary wife. So can we cut to the chase? I have to get to the gym." He flexed a little. "I mean, no one wants a shirtless chef who isn't toned."
(Admit it. You would totally watch that show.)
