first of all, you are crazy to stay up until 6 watching the oscars.

that said, congratulations on your first contact sheet. that is awesome. i love making contact sheets because they let you look at everything that you took - its not as much guesswork. (gary wasnt really a teacher who made us do contact sheets so i didnt really do them last year.) i cant wait to see your black and whites - is there any way you can scan them in and include them on your photopage?

the hikes youve been doing sound awesome - i wish i couldve been there. im glad youre doing well and getting lots out of these trips. when is spring break? cant wait to see the pics of venice.

The hikes you talked about remind me of some I did when I visited Tyler in Germany. There was one particular hike up to a fortress in Salzburg where I felt like I was almost parallel to the ground-- then we had to go down the same way! We def almost died... The photography sounds like so much fun! I am contemplating taking a class here.
