The primary purpose of recruitment agencies seems to be preventing people from acquiring jobs.

The girl I spoke to at the first appointment was actually quite sympathetic. If she was being sweet insincerely she was making a terrifyingly good job of it.

The second appointment was much more like it - the words 'We could definitely use you' were spoken a lot. How good it is to know that one can be 'used.'
