At least that Bludger-dodging practise got us somewhere. I think we did pretty damn good getting ahead of their Beaters. Too bad about the Snitch, but before that ... kicking their arses, we were. Top-notch coaching from Dunstan, at least, no complaints there.

I'm really sorry you lost, Zacharias.. I thought you played really really well, and you were scoring a lot more than the Gryffindor chasers during the first half of the game. Are you going to be on the team again next year? I don't really know how these things work.. are you going to be captain, or something? Am I asking too many questions? Agh, I don't know why I phrased that as a question too.. I'm sorry, I'm wasting space on your journal.

I'll let you know if or when you ever waste space on this journal. So far so good.

Yeah, thanks. I'm pretty much guaranteed a spot on the team next year, but I don't know about being captain -- though I'm pretty much the only person on the team who's not new and going to be here next year, so I probably have a shot at it. Don't know if I'd want the position, though. Do you play?

Well, I really hope you get captain, I'm sure you'd be really good at it. You seem really confident.. or.. something.

Um, no. I don't play at all. I'm really bad at flying, actually, and my brother is too.. he's even worse at Quidditch, he always drops things and gets hit by things. But.. I think it's really fun to watch..

Yeah, good game, mate. If it hadn't have been for Harry, we were playing badly enough where you would have had us beat.

Modesty from a Gryffindor? The world is ending, then.

... joking. Some of you seemed sort of off today, but there were a couple of impressive passes and saves from your team, too.

For a moment there, I thought Hufflepuff was going to win. Ahhh, but that illustrious Harry Potter. Always a step ahead of you, hmm?

No, but really. You played marvelously, per usual.

Only because he tripped and landed that way. Insufferable git. But you knew that already.

Mmhmm. Still being flattering because you owe me for the Hufflepuff gathering? Carry on.

I laughed a little. You should know how often that happens.

I don't know how much I owe you...you didn't show up until it was nearly over. And even then, I'm afraid your attention was on that Gryffindor.

What is it with decent people and Gryffindors these days? It's as bad as Hufflepuff infiltrating Slytherin.

I still maintain it was your bad judgement that lead you to the common room in the first place, so I hardly needed to take any responsibility ... and come now, my attention was not on 'that Gryffindor'.

It could be worse. there could be Gryffindors hanging all over Slytherins. Don't tell me when it happens; I'll be too busy packing my things.

The clothes thing... I sort of... well, I... Oh, forget it. I really need to talk to you. I know I've been so strange lately and I need to clear things up, because you must be confused terribly by all this.
