[If you're listening to the journal, you might see and hear the flash of lightning and an accompanying rumble of thunder. A quick glance outside will tell you it's a clear, cloudless day; but on the journal you might spy a miniature raincloud floating just under the steady hand of a woman kneeling in the grass.]

[Mia recognizes the woman who can manipulate the weather, and there's a smile in her answer]

Are there plans I should have?

[Likewise, Orroo recognizes the young girl who helped her during that awful draft.]

Perhaps. Fall is always a busy season, what with children starting school again and farms harvesting the last of their crop before winter. [not that there were many farms in New York.]

I do not attend the school, and I don't have much experience with farming, either. [It happens when you grow up in the arctic.]

Do you have plans? Other than preparing your garden.

Were I at home, I suppose I would be preparing for the coming holidays. There's Thanksgiving, after all. And then Christmas, not long after that.

[while she doesn't exactly believe in the origins of either holiday, spending her midteens to adult years in America kind of. beat the commercial aspect of them into her.]

Here, however, I'm afraid my choices are much more limited.

[Is this person capable of controlling rain, and whats more using it to help in gardening? Colour her interested.]

Should you not wish to hide away your hard work, perhaps you could consider planting winter blooms to while away the harsh winter months~

The thought crossed my mind, yes. I wasn't sure I would have the time, however. It is mid-September already.

There is still plenty of time providing you act with haste~ Moondrops are to be considered, giving the time in which they grow and flourish. Camellia are also excellent choices should you desire a splash of colour on an otherwise dreary day.

[You have no idea how happy it makes Ororo to have someone to talk gardening with. Her voice turns wistful.]

Oh, camellias do sound lovely. That is an excellent idea; perhaps I'll check to see if they're available at the flower shop in a little while.

[Oh Bruce, such a dear, dear dork. :)]

Of course it does, Dr. Banner. But that can't be all you have planned.

Well... chances are I'll probably eat at some point before or after.

[THIS IS LITERALLY ALL HE HAS PLANNED.]

A scientist's life is hardly ever a healthy one, as I've come to gather. I hope you're not the kind that survives on microwave meals and instant noodles?

Campfires. [At least now his bff is here.]

How about you?

Other than preparing my garden for the winter, I'm afraid not much else. I suppose I'll see what the other residents of Luceti have planned for Halloween.

Campfires sound like a good idea, however. Those are always fun to do with friends.

From what the guide indicates, this place plans things whether the people here do or not.

Aye. Especially when your friend is a walking campfire, eh?

Pardon? Your friend, a walking fire? [Hey, she has students who fit that description exactly!]

[I do not think Storm has ever been called adorable before.]

I've never carved one myself, actually. Perhaps I should try.

On the contrary, I always thought it was a charming practice. Strange, but interesting nonetheless.
