What? No, I'm not dead. I'm just... well, not having much to say, really. Life's been... well, life. I'm not even really posting about life. (I'll save that for after I take care of my next big problem. Hooboy.) What I'm posting about is... well, damn all of you. Especally Chris, Dan and Matt. It's *your* faults. Because goddamn, CoH looks so ( Read more... )

I stopped playing CoH. The instant I do -EVERYONE- starts signing up.

Because... y'see. I wanna like CoH. And it's fun with friends - but it's not fun enough. I get tired of the same mission settings, and so forth, and that's not changing very quickly.

I want to show up, and run Dark Isotope around with all my friends. But between WoW (which I still play), and trying to have a life... I can't play CoH.

It's up to you/ If you have the income and the money to spare on the new machine, and want it anyway, then go for it. But if you don't, then maybe it might not be worth it to drop that much cash on a new machine just for a MMORPG (Says the guy who bought more ram and a new Videocard for it, shut up).

You know your own financial situation. If you can afford it comfortably, then sure, it's a fun game.

Oh lord no, I'm not going to drop cash on a new machine just for a game. But my system is pretty poor - the used one I picked up last year has turned out to be a real lemon. I've put more money into fixing it than I paid for it originally, and it still has a number of issues. Plus it really is severely behind the times. It's not a good sign when opening e-mail lags your processor.

Then trash it, replace it, never speak of it again. ;)

I'm looking to upgrade my video card soon so I can get the PC up to spec for Battlefield 2, Battleground Europe, and a better view of City of Villains. If/when that happens, you can have my old card: It's a GeForce MX 440 and can run City of Heroes with minimal frills.

I'm actually already getting a vid card from another friend. The issue really isn't that, though, it's the processor. I'm running an, ah... 733Mhz processor that occasionally decides it's going to pretend it's a 600. Thus the absolute need for an upgrade - new chip means new motherboard means having to redo most of my hardware that suddenly won't fit into the new board.
