I finally got around to making some Narnia icons which, while not terribly original, have lots of pretty colours. :)

WOW. All of these are amazing and beautiful and... wow. I especially like 15, 21, 25, 26, 29, 36 and 40. And ALL the preview icons look breahtaking, I can't wait! I hope you consider making a tutorial based on this set, I would love to know how you achieved your coloring, etc. Wow I wish my icons didn't suck :P.

Thank you sweetheart! I appreciate your comment as I'm not really happy with anything icon-ish that I'm coming out with lately. :(

You icons don't suck! My God! What a travesty!!! Honestly, please don't say that, I'm always envious of your ability to choose text and to get it looking so right on an icon as I'm useless at text. You icons are brilliant!!! Go Maggie!!!!! :D :D *rampant abuse of exclamation marks ahoy*

I'll be happy to make a tutorial, which icon (colouring wise) do you like in particular and I'll try to figure it out again. :z

*huggles* xxxx

Which proves I guess that beauty is in the eye of the beholder! I'm in a bit of a rut as well, nothing seems to be working the way I want it to... You never really see what you make as others see it because you know what went into it, I guess. But thanks for the encouragement :). All I can say is RIGHT BACK AT YA!!!! Your icons inspire me, so that's probably as good as it gets :).

But anyway I stick by the fact that these are GORGEOUS. I would love to know what kind of effects you used for 26, 29 or 36, or maybe just a few tips on getting colors to look vibrant but not too loud if you know what I mean. Everything I do with coloring lately is just waaaay too brash :P.
