Why, in the name of all that is holy, is the Transformers Alternators version of Optimus Prime a Dodge Ram pick-up?

It's not the film version. That version is more traditional. This is one of those "more realistic" toys the franchise has been saddled with of late, and it blows.

The Dodge Ram was supposed to be Trailbreaker, who was originally a pick-up, but the Japanese company that co-owns TFs ruled it had to be Optimus because Prime toys sell well.
