According to the Vancouver Sun, Canada's new official languages commissioner is in favour of connecting federal university funding to a program which will require graduates to speak both official languages (English and French) in order to earn a degree ( Read more... )

I'm in complete agreement with you. French well a big part of Canadian Heritage doesn't have much to do with British Columbia.

In my tourism dgree we have to take a language but we can choose, what we want to take. For instance I'm taking Spanish because large parts of the world speak it.

....other than France and Quebec, who speaks french anymore?
