Well, I've got offered a full-time job at the new hotel opening up next month. I'm not really excited to be in the restaurant industry[again] but I am thankful that I got a call back. well congratulations on the job. You know when I was applying to work in the hotel, my first choice was the front desk as well. I hear that teh $$$ is in the restaurants tho. But for me my real calling is HR so I'm just gonna stick this one out for a year & transfer to HR next year. Good luck!

Yes, JoAnn! Good for you! I worked at the FD at Hyatt, and though it's probably less of a running around kind of job, the pay sucks and one never ever gets to sit down. EVER. Plus, no service charge. You got a good deal! Good luck with every endeavor, girl.
