Moody Blues: They're in their sixties now, but they were on stage for two hours (20-minute intermission, no opening act) and played all the songs of theirs that I knew and a bunch that I didn't. Spirit of the West opened for Great Big Sea when I saw them in Halifax. They are quite an awesome pairing. Although being one of the Great Big Sea fans who stands the whole time and sings, I'd have to say I still like them better. I did not however like Allan's beard! Hideous thing.

Sounds like you had a pretty sweet concert fest! Blue Rodeo would have been nice too.

Yeah, not remembering any of the words to any of the Great Big Sea songs was detrimental to my enjoyment of their show. Judging by the crowd's reaction, though, at first I thought it was a Spirit of the West concert with Great Big Sea as a closing act :p Sadly the SotW website lists no upcoming concerts :(
