On Thursdays I work at an elementary school in a music classroom. Today the 1st grade class was singing the classic song "baby bumblebee" (you know, "I'm bringing back a baby bumblebee, won't my mother be so proud of me...etc."), and the kids were taking turns choosing what they should put into the song instead of "bumblebee", like butterfly,

The discussion that mention of this post spawned really did a number on my belief in reincarnation. As in, there's almost none of it left. Not that there was a whole lot to begin with. But there certainly was some.
