   I know I haven't updated in a long long time. So long that they even closed my account so I had to restart it. Do'h! So let me try to catch people up with what is going on on this end of the world. Or at least my end of it.
   At Kojo and Kuwada Jr highs this year. Kojo is still awesome. Well a bit more now that I have actually started

About time we get an update on you, dood. What's this about 5 years for JETs? That's complete BS. I can't believe anyone in the education Ministry would approve of that. I honestly believe that anyone who stays on beyond 3 years should be forced to take some sort of vocational training in teaching and have probably a title change to be more meaningful. Seriously, 5 years of tape recorder sensei is just nuts.

Otherwise, good to know things are good for the most part. Keep writing stuff. Go. Go.

Hell, I'm still in shock and I've been thinking about it since last May. It sounds like the real deal, though.

I honestly believe that anyone who stays on beyond 3 years should be forced to take some sort of vocational training in teaching and have probably a title change to be more meaningful. I wonder how much of it is to slow down the turnover of JETs, considering the labor in acclimatizing new JETs every year. Job training would be awesome. Though, it depends on how serious the ministry really is. I'm cynical. :)

I think job training should be manditory. I mean we are teaching. However rare or badly we do that. We should still get some training or prep outside of Tokyo. I guess technically that training we got once we got to Okayama was job realated. But wait you came late so you didn't experience it. And ninjas is not from the city. But that is not enough.

Didn't experience what job training? From when we first arrived? (2 years ago...oh geez, feels like forever). Or about the Okayama Orientations? *is very confused*

And ninjas is not from the city./ Sometimes hearing the stories that city JETs have, it makes me glad I'm not there. Then I think of things like 'Pizza Hut Pizza!', and I'm sad again. D:

Dude. The 5 years renewal has been all the talk the last 2 weeks. And where have you been lately? I want to hear it from the horse's mouth. :)
