I don't hate John Piper, and I don't disagree with him 98% of the time. He's just much more engaging as a speaker than as an author, when I do get annoyed with him. But I've explained that already.

I don't know if I can help at the car wash, but I'll pray that you guys have a successful time that wil lhelp further your ministry.

I don't think that the class necessarily hates Piper; but I think that many associate Piper with Duenes, which is bad for some. Andd accepting some points of the TULIP can be difficult.
